This unit is for rentals The Larson Electronics RNT-SPLT-2.4K-LM30-FM-20X105AH-4X30L-10KW-CPR Solar LED Light Tower offers wide-area illumination in outdoor locations from elevated positions up to 29.5`. This unit features eight, 300-watt solar panels and four, 150-watt LED fixtures for illumination, as well as twenty, 105aH AGM batteries and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-600V solar controller. The entire assembly is skid-mounted, secured on a single-axle trailer, which can be deployed on the ground (without the trailer). Constructed of aluminum alloy, the solar light mast provides a runtime of 30 hours per full charge. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This solar LED light tower is a portable, powerful lighting solution for outdoor locations. The unit is equipped with eight 300-watt solar panels, four 150-watt LED fixtures, twenty 105aH AGM batteries, Morningstar TS-MPPT-600V controller, internal cooling fans, an integrated compass and a sturdy junction box. All components are mounted on a single-axle trailer. The skid-mount light mast extends up to 29.5 feet and is retractable to 8 feet. A Perkins 403D-11G EPA Tier 4 generator with Stamford PI044E is also available with this unit (120/240V single phase output). The solar LED light tower provides 30 hours of operating time and 9.5 hours of charging time. Operators may connect multiple units together to form a single grid-type configuration. LED Fixtures: The RNT-SPLT-2.4K-LM30-FM-20X105AH-4X30L-10KW-CPR features four, 150-watt LED fixtures for illumination. The LED units operate on 24V DC and provide 13,000 lumens of white light (3,250 lumens per lamp) with a color temperature rating of 5,000K. Constructed of die-cast aluminum, the LED fixtures are suitable for wide-area illumination in outdoor locations. Operators can use a timer for automated control of the LED lights. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Light Mast: This telescoping six-stage aluminum alloy light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy a reliable lighting system in locations where it must be elevated to heights up to 29.5` for effective coverage. The tower, which is retractable to 8`, is constructed of round aluminum alloy tubing. The mast is extended to its full height using a hydraulic lifting system. Junction boxes are mounted at the top of the first stage and at the very top of the mast for equipment setup, connection, and deployment. Solar Panels/Batteries: This unit is comprised of eight, 300-watt solar panels, with a 30-degree tilt for optimized sunlight exposure. The RNT-SPLT-2.4K-LM30-FM-20X105AH-4X30L-10KW-CPR features a total of twenty, 105aH AGM batteries to store power. The power cells come with an expected lifespan range of 5-7 years. Controller: A 48V DC Morningstar TS-MPPT-600V controller, with a 97.9 percent peak efficiency rate, manages power storage and allocation between the solar panels and batteries. This component features a maximum input voltage of 600V and a robust tracking algorithm for power loss reduction. Capable of providing 4,500 watts/port of transient surge protection, this unit provides the following types of protection: overload, high voltage, battery disconnection, high temperature and reverse current. The TS-MPPT-600V controller comes with Ethernet, EIA-485, RS-232 and MeterBus ports, with MeterBus, MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP/ IP, HTTP, SNMP v2 and SMTP supported protocols. Component Control Center: All the electrical components are encapsulated in a NEMA 3R job box that is bolted to the trailer. Since most of these components are not rated for high heat, our component cooling system circulates air within the job box at 1400 CFM when the ambient temperature exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The job box that contains the component control system includes locks for security purposes. Trailer Assembly: The RNT-SPLT-2.4K-LM30-FM-20X105AH-4X30L-10KW-CPR is skid mounted with a trailer base, which allows operators to deploy the solar light tower on the ground (without the trailer). The entire assembly measures 147" x 86.5" x 93.7" and is secured on a single-axle trailer with 185R/14C tires/rims. The trailer tongue can be removed for long-term deployment. A rugged and waterproof job box is included, safely secured to the trailer. Four outriggers mounted to the corners of the trailer allow operators to level the trailer, and provide stabilization during deployment. All trailer lighting complies with US DOT regulations. Applications: Security, monitoring, live events, concerts, law enforcement, military, commercial, industrial facilities, outdoor surveillance, outdoor illumination, remote locations and more.
