This unit features three, 300-watt solar panels, four 100-watt LED fixtures for illumination, six 150aH gel batteries (450aH capacity) and a solar controller. The entire assembly is secured on a single-axle trailer. The unit is equipped with three 300-watt solar panels, four 100-watt LED fixtures, six 150aH gel batteries, Morningstar PS-30 controller and a sturdy junction box. All components are mounted on a single-axle trailer. The fixed-mount pneumatic light mast extends up to 20 feet, and can be lowered to 8 feet for applications that require a smaller footprint. LED Fixtures: The RNT-SPLT-.9K-PLM18-FM-6X150AH-4X20L-CPR features four, 100-watt LED fixtures for illumination. The LED units operate on 24V DC and provide 13,000 lumens of white light (3,250 lumens per lamp) with a color temperature rating of 5,000K. Constructed of die-cast aluminum, the LED fixtures are suitable for wide-area illumination in outdoor locations. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Light Mast: The rugged telescoping pneumatic light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 20 feet for effective application. This light boom can be extended to 20 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8 feet to bring equipment closer to the target area as well as for transport and storage. The tower is constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for strength and durability. This tower is comprised of three 6.7` sections, and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of lights or cameras. The mast is elevated using an included 250 watt 220 Volt AC 50/60hz, 1/3 horsepower air compressor. An air release valve located at the base of this pneumatic mast allows operators to lower the tower. The 16/7 AWG wiring is internally routed, meaning no loose wiring when the tower is collapsed and no exposed wiring to fray or become damaged. The PML-18 includes a six-wire internal wiring harness with 12 inches extending from both ends of the tower to allow easy installation and connection. Solar Panels/Batteries: This unit is comprised of three 300-watt solar panels, with a 30-degree tilt for optimized sunlight exposure. The panels are wired to the solar charger control box which manages the charging system. A 24V DC Morningstar PS-30 controller, with a maximum PV open current/voltage protection of 30A/60V, manages power storage and allocation between the solar panels and batteries. The RNT-SPLT-.9K-PLM18-FM-6X150AH-4X20L-CPR features a total of six, 150aH gel deep cycle lead-acid batteries to store power. The power cells come with 450aH usable capacity and an expected lifespan range of 5-7 years. Component Control Center: All the electrical components are encapsulated in a NEMA 3R job box that is bolted to the trailer. Since most of these components are not rated for high heat, our component cooling system circulates air within the job box at 1400 CFM when the ambient temperature exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The job box that contains the component control system includes locks for security purposes. Trailer Assembly: The entire assembly measures 11` 9.75" x 11.25" x 8` 2" and is secured on a single-axle trailer with 185R/14C tires/rims. The trailer tongue can be removed for long-term deployment. A rugged and waterproof job box is included, safely secured to the trailer. Four outriggers mounted to the corners of the trailer allow operators to level the trailer, and provide stabilization during deployment. All trailer lighting complies with US DOT regulations.
