The ATEX-EPL-TX-1.75A-24V from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Power Supply that takes 120-240 V AC and converts it into either 24 V DC. This allows operators to use equipment such as LED or HID lights that require 24 V DC power from commonly used 120/240V electrical current. The ATEX-EPL-TX-1.75A-24V is rated for Class I Divisions 1 & 2 Groups C and D, Class II Division 1 Groups E, F and G and Class III Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous areas and is ATEX/IECEx rated and listed for use worldwide including the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

The ATEX-EPL-TX-1.75A-24V features durable aluminum construction and a choice of 1/2" or 3/4" NPT hub sizes. The precision cast and machined surface permit safer wire pulling and the precision NPT-threaded hubs allow for trouble-free field installation of rigid conduit.

The ATEX-EPL-TX-1.75A-24V explosion proof power supply features full range, universal AC input capability and can be operated with 120 V to 240 V AC. The unit converts this AC power input to 42 watt, 1.75 Amp 24 V DC output. Integrally designed protection includes overload, short circuit and over voltage safeguards to prevent overheating and unit damage in case of faults or overly heavy current draw. This unit will shut down when an over current fault is encountered and automatically resume operation once the fault is repaired or removed. When an over voltage condition is encountered the unit will shut down and recovers when manually turned back on.
