The EPL-TX-1.3A-12V from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Power Supply that takes 120-240V AC and converts it into 12V DC. This allows operators to use equipment such as LED or HID lights that require DC power from commonly used 90-305V electrical current. The EPL-TX-1.3A-12V is rated for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups A, B, C, D, Class I, Zones 1 & 2, Groups IIB+H2, IIA, Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F ,G and Class III hazardous areas. The EPL-TX-1.3A-12V features durable aluminum construction and a choice of 1/2" or 3/4" NPT hub sizes. The precision cast and machined surface permit safer wire pulling and the precision NPT-threaded hubs allow for trouble-free field installation of rigid conduit. The EPL-TX-1.3A-12V explosion proof power supply features full range, universal AC input capability and can be operated with 90 to 305VAC. The unit converts this AC power input to 20 watt, 12V DC output. Integrally designed protection includes overload, short circuit and over voltage safeguards to prevent overheating and unit damage in case of faults or overly heavy current draw. This unit will shut down when an over current fault is encountered and automatically resume operation once the fault is repaired or removed.
