This weatherproof unit converts single-phase 240V US electrical current to single-phase 230V EU. A powder coated steel cart with stainless steel hardware provides mobility and seamless deployment in rugged environments.

Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MPD-CM5-NSB.30AB-SP7.5SQ-DZ-2.N05-2.K01-2.K02-M1 portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 120 volt and 230 volt equipment. On the primary side, operators connect single-phase 240V line-in power using a 10` #10/4 AWG Type SOOW cord with a 14-30P NEMA straight-blade plug and to two 5-15 NEMA duplex receptacles for 120V equipment. On the secondary side, operators are provided access to two EU1-16R Schuko Type E/F and Uk1-13R BS1363 Type G receptacles for 230V equipment.

This weatherproof power distribution unit features overload protection. In the instance of circuit overload, the unit automatically trips the circuit breaker to protect the unit from damage, and operators manually reset the breaker.

Operation: A 10` #10/4 AWG Type SOOW cord with a 30-amp 125/250V 14-30P NEMA straight-blade plug brings single-phase 240V power to the primary side of the system, which contains one 30-amp 2-pole 250V main circuit breaker and two 15-amp 1-pole 125V main circuit breakers protecting two 15-amp 5-15R 125V NEMA duplex receptacles, and passes power through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 7.5 kVA transformer converts single-phase 240V US to 230V EU and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer is equipped with two 16-amp 1-pole 250V main circuit breakers protecting two EU1-16R Schuko Type E/F 250V receptacles and two 13-amp 1-pole 250V main circuit breakers protecting two Uk1-13R BS1363 Type G 250V receptacles.

Protective Construction: The housing on the MPD-CM5-NSB.30AB-SP7.5SQ-DZ-2.N05-2.K01-2.K02-M1 is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating (we offer stainless steel enclosures at an additional cost). The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this unit does not tip over when deployed in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The assembly is mounted atop four swivel polyurethane casters, two standard swivel and two locking swivel, aiding in transportation within the job site. A top located adjustable push handle allows operators to guide this unit through the workspace.

Certification: All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and NRTL certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.

Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; refeer containers, transportation, refrigerator containers, industrial sites, docks, commercial areas and more.
