Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use
The MPD-HD2-309.32AB-SJ7.5SY-DZ-4.H01-M1 temporary power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 110 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect single-phase 415 volt line-in power using 25` of 10/3 AWG SOOW cord terminated in a EX 32A Pin & Sleeve Male Plug 3PH [415 V]. On the secondary side, operators may access four hazardous location 16A pin/sleeve receptacles for 110 V equipment.

Operation: A 25-foot 10/3 AWG SOOW line-in cord terminated in a EX 32A Pin & Sleeve Male Plug 3PH [415 V] brings single-phase 415 V power to the primary side of the system, which contains one 30-amp 2-pole 415 V Class I, Division 2 miniature circuit breaker, and passes power to the transformer. The NEMA rated 7.5 kVA Class I, Division 2 transformer converts single-phase 415 V to 110 V and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA rated Class I, Division 2 68.2-amp, single-phase 110V main lug only panel. The hazardous location secondary panel contains four 16-amp 1-pole 125V Class I, Division 2 miniature circuit breaker protecting four hazardous location 16-amp pin/sleeve 110 V Class I, Division 2 receptacles.
