The PLM-LCK-8.8-5.3-2S-NAC from Larson Electronics is a Locking Pneumatic Light Light Mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to nine feet. The locking design allows these light masts to remain deployed indefinitely without the need for constant air pressure. With a 220 lb payload capacity, the PLM-LCK-8.8-5.3-2S-NAC is a reliable and versatile pneumatic mast for lifting a variety of equipment safely and securely. This Larson Electronics telescoping locking pneumatic light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 8.8 feet for effective application. This light boom has two sections and can be extended to 8.8 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 5.3 feet for closer more intense illumination. The tower is constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for strength and durability. This tower is comprised of two sections, and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of equipment. The mast is elevated using an air compressor (sold separately). An air release valve located at the base of this pneumatic mast allows operators to lower the tower. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12 inch square, 1/2" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). A 24 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast to allow operators to easily and securely attach their desired fixtures. This light tower weighs approximately 62 lbs, and can easily support and lift a 220 lb payload. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. Suggested Applications: Lighting and security camera deployment. We can also equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power, including the LEDLB-200X2E, LEDLB-160X2E or LEDLB-80x2E.
