The HMLBLT-18W-LED-25-1224 from Larson Electronics offers high purity optics, industrial grade construction, and effortless adjustability in a compact form. In addition to a powerful 100lb grip magnetic base for quick and easy on-the-go mounting, this light features a unique dual bracket design that allows the operator to guide the light through a full range of vertical and horizontal movement with ease. The HMLBLT-18W-LED-25-1224 magnetic mount light features one high output LED lamp that yields 1,530 lumens of cool white light with a color temperature of 5000K and a CRI of 85, providing maximum illumination and superior color rendering while drawing a modest 18 watts of energy. This lamp uses Cree LED units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme longevity. These Cree LEDs generate a robust 85 lumens per watt effective lumen output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than traditional light sources. Built for toughness and durability, the HMLBLT-18W-LED-25-1224 LED assembly is housed within a machined aluminum body and protected behind an impact resistant polycarbonate lens. This housing incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation to increase LED lifespan and is powder coated with a solid black finish for added corrosion resistance. The dual bracket design of the HMLBLT-18W-LED-25-1224 allows the operator to guide this light through a broad range of movement with ease, making it excellent for tracking animals or moving objects. An upper trunnion style bracket attaches the light head to a lower pivoting and tilting bracket, which is in turn attached to the magnetic base. The upper trunnion bracket allows the light head itself to be vertically adjusted to the operator`s desired position by hand. The lower bracket features an inverted pistol grip handle attached with a 7" steel strap and allows the entire light unit to be easily rotated 360¡ and tilted up or down using the ergonomic handle. Additionally, this bracketing system will maintain a fixed beam position after placement if stationary lighting is preferred. The cord is detached via a weatherproof, 2 pin Deutsch connector which easily and securely attaches and detaches the coil cord from the spotlight. Other cords, including 25 foot cords with ring terminals (C-21RT), 25 foot cord with spring battery clamps (alligator clips) (C-16BC) and a 25 foot straight cord with cigarette plug (C-16CP) are available.
