Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGS-15KVA-120-240-30AFT heavy duty power transformer substation converts 480VAC electrical current to 120/240VAC single phase. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This unit is designed to operate with 480VAC which it then steps down to 120/240VAC. This transformer makes 120VAC available via ten 125V 520R-GFCI protected receptacles and 240VAC available via two 250V L6-30R twist-locks. Also included with this unit is a 480V ADR3034 receptacle (mating plug with 25 foot whip included) for welding substations or similar applications. The MGS-15KVA-120-240-30AFT converts 480VAC to 120/240VAC single phase and provides 15KVA capacity. Protection is provided through the use of ten 125V 520R-GFCI protected outlets. 20 feet of #6 Type W line in cord connects to a 60A disconnect switch fused @ 40A controlling a 15KVA transformer and to a 30A disconnect switch fused @30A controlling a ADR3034 30A receptacle and ACP3034 30A plug with 25 feet of SOOW cord allows operators to utlize a feed through power option as well for 480V welders and equipment. The transformer and distribution assembly is mounted onto a rugged frame with integrated skid mounting, no flat all terrain tires for easy mobility and a top located eyelet to allow easy transport. This unit is ideal for use in applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, as a welding station, shows and exhibits and marine applications.
