Made in Texas The Larson Electronics WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A portable power distribution converts 480V AC 50/60 Hz input voltage and steps it down to 120V AC output voltage. This weatherproof portable power distribution unit allows operators to plug into 480V generators and welding outlets via an L22-20P cord cap. The WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A portable spider box from Larson Electronics is built to provide operators with a reliable source of low voltage 120V power. This compact spider box is designed for portability and convenience as well as durability. Featuring an elevated base platform for protection from standing water and weatherproof construction, the WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A is ideal for powering 120V equipment and lighting in construction, entertainment, job-site, marine, and outdoor locations where 480V generators are providing the power. This portable spider box features eight 120V, 20A GFCI 5-20R duplex receptacles and two 120V, 30A, L5-30R receptacles that provide sealed and secure connections for up to 10 devices. The maximum voltage for all 10 receptacles is 1500W. In addition, the receptacles provide 120V for powering high voltage lighting and equipment without the need for running additional extension cords. Each receptacle features a hinged watertight cover protecting the face from rain, water, and moisture when not in use. The WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A power distribution unit features short circuit and overload protection. In the instance of circuit overload, the unit automatically shuts down to protect the spider box from damage and restarts after 30 seconds. The housing on the WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transform does not tip over when in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A portable spider box system converts primary 480V AC into 120V AC primary voltage, which is brought in via 20` of 12/4 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cable that is fitted with an industrial grade male L22-20P cord cap to the breaker enclosure equipped with a 40-amp, 2-pole breaker. Secondary voltage is distributed via the eight 120V, 20A GFCI 5-20R duplex receptacles and two 120V, 30A, L5-30R receptacles.
