Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL25-208Y-4X120-1X480-30A Temporary Power Distribution System converts 208Y VAC to 480V three phase electrical current. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into common 208Y and distribute 480VAC to their equipment. This portable substation is suitable for outdoor applications with a fully potted transformer and Nema 3R load center. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* This power distribution system is designed to enable contractors using 480 volt equipment to operate off commonly found 208Y service at customer sites. This dolly cart style configuration is easy to move around the customer site and can be loaded easily on a truck or other conveyance for transport to a different site. This configuration provides the operator with four 120V GFCI receptacles and one L16-30 receptacle for 30 amp 480V service. A separate disconnect on the 480v secondary side enables the operator to kill power to the 480 Volt L16-30 receptacle while keeping the 120/208Y panel and related 120V receptacles active. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard steel cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two rubber tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift eye allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations. These temporary power distribution systems are popularly used for HAZLOC applications where external power sources are often necessary and work well in combination with explosion proof lights and equipment. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such can build portable transformer systems to your specifications.
