The HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êfrom Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Integrated LED Light Fixture that is NRTL Listed for United States and Canada Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D, has a T4A temperature rating, and is designed for paint spray booths and locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present. The HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êis designed for 1X4 lay-in mounting.

This four foot, two lamp integrated LED lay-in fixture is ideal for use in paint spray booths and hazardous locations where space for lighting fixtures is limited. The HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êfixture is equipped with a specially designed integrated LED array which produces 8,000 lumens of bright light in a 160¡ wide flood beam spread, resulting in 50% more foot candles of illumination at 8 feet as compared to standard T5HO lamps when measured with an Extech light meter. Our integrated series are visibly brighter than standard T5HO`s and have consistently surprised many of our customers with their unexpectedly high light output levels.

This LED light fixture features 0-10V dimming capabilities. This gives operators the ability to manually adjust the brightness of the LED lamp quickly and easily. The 0-10V dimming allows for adjustments to fit the brightness needs of any lighting situation. A 0-10V dimmable light works through the use of a DC control signal that ranges between zero and ten volts. The basic idea is that at 10 volts of input the light is at its brightest level with 0 volts being the lowest possible dimness setting. The smooth, continuous and flicker-free dimming of a 0-10V dimmable LED light is ideal for a wide range of different lighting applications.

The HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êis a 4 foot long, 2 lamp, Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous area LED light that takes the reliability and efficiency of a fluorescent fixture and adds even longer lamp life and efficiency with high output integrated LED array. This fixture is T4A temperature rated and comes standard with our high power integrated LED array. The LED array is protected by a powder coated aluminum frame and shatter and heat resistant clear acrylic lens secured with ten zinc coated steel draw latches.

This fixture carries a T4A temperature rating and is constructed of copper free sheet aluminum that is powder coated. The lamp reflector is corrosion resistant heavy gauge aluminum and coated with a high gloss reflective finish. The HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êprovides operators in hazardous locations with a highly efficient, reliable, and affordable lighting solution for open areas where flammable chemicals and vapors may occasionally be present. We have eliminated the ballast box normally associated with fluorescent fixtures which reduces overall weight and creates a slimmer unit profile. There is no ballast in this unit and the integrated LED array has a 60,000+ hour service life, both of which result in extreme efficiency and greatly reduced maintenance costs. The solid state design of LED technology give this fixture superior resistance to damage from vibration, extremes in temperature, and a lamp life over twice that of standard fluorescent bulbs.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

The integrated heat sink allows for efficient heat dissipation, preventing the LEDs from overheating and keeping the overall temperature of the fixture relatively low. Solid state LED technology eliminates the need for a ballast box and lamps, a cumbersome feature of fluorescent fixtures that add weight and require frequent repairs.

The LED array in this fixture produces 80% more illumination than standard T8 bulbs while offering lower amp draw and increased reliability. The LED array in the HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êproduces 8,000 lumens at 100 lumens per watt with a total of 80 watts and draws only 0.67 amps at 120 volts AC. The drivers in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. The HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êoperates on 120-277 V AC or 11-25 V AC/DC. Please make your selection when ordering. We also offer other variations of this light if needed to fit your specific application, 347-480 V AC, 12-24 V DC and 0-10 V dimmable by simply installing the custom driver or DC-DC transformer.

Please note: The above energy tables are comparing 4ft 4-lamp fixtures to the HALD-48-ITG-1X4-LED-D-R1Êintegrated LED fixture. The light output is comparable to a 4ft 4-lamp fixture, but the form factor is of a 4ft 2-lamp fixture. This fixture has the same output as our HALS-48-4L with four 54 watt T5HO lamps, but in the compact form factor of the HAL-48-2L-BMSW housing. Currently you cannot achieve comparable light output in the same form factor from fluorescent lighting.

Mounting: This fixture is designed for recessed 1X4 lay-in mounting and requires a mounting hole to be made in booth panels capable of accomodating the fixture housing in order to provide the maximum amount of space in paint spray booth enclosures. Once mounted, this fixture`s glass door frame will extend 3/8" into the spray booth.
