This explosion proof trailer mounted mobile security mast is suitable for remote monitoring in hazardous locations and combustible areas. The system features a 30-foot galvanized mast, one 190-watt Class I, Division 2 rated solar panel with a lithium iron phosphate battery bank and a 120V battery charger. Operators can use one Class I, Division 1 rated camera with a 4-channel 2TB explosion proof NVR to record footage. The entire assembly is mounted onto a 7.5' galvanized single axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this portable solar light tower from location to location.

Explosion Proof Camera: An included explosion proof camera features a built-in 1/2.5" progressive-scan CMOS image sensor that delivers up to 4K 8.0MP resolution at 20 fps. The wide angle fixed lens with 102¡ field of view is designed to cover large areas and work spaces. This explosion proof camera provides a crisp and clear image for everything within the 102¡ focal area. Total distance is dependent on height and angle.

The explosion proof unit comes with built-in infrared lights. For additional infrared illumination, an external infrared light can be used with the explosion proof device (not included). For 12-24V DC applications, we recommend the Larson Electronics 12-watt explosion surface-mount infrared LED light (EXHL-TRN-LE3-IR-1224). As an alternative, we also offer the EXHL-TRN-LE3-IR-1227 for 120-240V AC applications.

This camera utilizes 120dB true Wide Dynamic Range, 3D Digital Noise Reduction and a true day/night IR-Cut Filter Removal to produce clear images in variable and low light conditions. The camera automatically switches from full color to IR mode when visible light falls below a certain level.

Our explosion proof cameras with Power over Ethernet (PoE) features enable data transfers and power to be passed through a single Ethernet cable that is usually a Cat 3/Cat 5 cable or better. There are several types of PoE, which come with their own respective standard and maximum power to port capabilities. The IEEE 802.3af PoE standard, with a voltage range of 44.0 - 57.0V, offers 15.4W of DC power for each port. The IEEE 802.3at PoE standard, with a voltage range of 50.0 Ð 57.0V, provides up to 30W of DC power per port, which is ideal for surveillance cameras, antennas and network access points. The IEEE 802.3bt PoE standard, with a voltage range of 50.0 Ð 57.0V, provides 60W of DC power for each port. In order to utilize PoE properly, the components, such as the receiving unit and sending device, must be PoE compliant.

Explosion Proof NVR: With multiple recording modes and 2TB of storage, users could capture hours of footage with ease. The remote configurable network recorder features a bit rate of 80Mbps incoming and 64Mbps outgoing at up to 30fps per channel. To maximize storage, the unit supports H.265 and H.264 video compression.

This NVR complies with the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The regulation bans federal governments, their contractors and businesses with national security interests from buying and using surveillance equipment made by specific major China-based manufacturers, including Hikvision, Dahua and their OEMs. Security products sold by Honeywell, Bosch, Panasonic, ADT, Flir and many more are affected by the ban. NDAA compliance also includes a ban on ZTE, Huawei and Hytera telecommunication equipment.

The network recorder is compatible with two-way audio streaming (camera dependent) and includes one ethernet port (RJ-45 interface). During recording, the unit handles the following data: remote configuration, remote viewing, event log, email notification, event notification and video analytics. This video recorder accepts USB mouse and keyboard inputs. USB mouse ships standard with the video recorder. USB keyboard sold separately.

Inputs: (1) RCA audio

Outputs: (1) RCA audio, (1) VGA, (1) HDMI, (1) USB 2.0, (1) USB 3.0

Solar Powered Light Tower: This solar light tower includes one 190-watt Class I, Division 2 rated solar panel, solar charging system, battery bank and manual crank up mast mounted on trailer with outriggers. This solar generator system replenishes amp hours of usable battery capacity per day, assuming 5.5 hours of peak charging sunlight. This system delivers 12 volts for equipment mounted atop the 30' telescoping light mast. A junction box is mounted at the very top of the mast for equipment setup, connection, and deployment.

Light Mast: This telescoping five stage galvanized steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy a variety of equipment in locations where it must be elevated to heights up to 30' for effective coverage. This non-sparking light mast can be extended to 30' above the trailer floor for maximum area coverage, and collapsed to 13.5' for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 6.6' in length and 6" by 6" by 3/16" thick, lower section 6.78' in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 6.93' in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, upper section 7.08' in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and top section 7.58' in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1'+ overlap. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 1,000 lb rated hand winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable.

A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for equipment. A half-moon shaped mounting plate on the top of the mast head provides a secure mounting platform for the NEMA 3R 12" x 12" x 6" junction box, where operators can mount cameras, indicator lights, and route electrical cabling. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360¡. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different positions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely and can typically be rotated with a single hand.

The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. Four 1,000 lb hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2' out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 13.5', the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When raised to the maximum height, the mast can withstand winds up to 75 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised.

Solar Panel Assembly: This unit is comprised of one 190-watt solar panel, which offers days of automation without sun. The panel is mounted to a stationary assembly. This panel is wired to the solar charger control box which manages the charging system. The battery bank consists of two 176 aH lithium iron phosphate batteries with 352 aH capacity/usable battery. An included 120V battery charger allows operators to charge the batteries when sunlight is insufficient.

Wiring/Plug: The battery charger on the unit is equipped with a 15-foot 16/3 SOOW cord that is fitted with an explosion proof 15-amp 120V 5-15P plug for power connections.

Component Control Center: All the electrical components are encapsulated in a NEMA 3R job box that is bolted to the trailer. Since most of these components are not rated for high heat, our component cooling system circulates air within the job box at 1400 CFM when the ambient temperature exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The job box that contains the component control system includes locks for security purposes.

Trailer Assembly: The entire assembly is mounted to a 7.5' by 7', single axle galvanized trailer via six 1/2" anchor bolts. The two wheel trailer is equipped with 3,500 lb axle and leaf springs with 15" trailer tires. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 7-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing. The trailer tongue can be removed for long term deployment. A rugged and waterproof job box is included, safely secured to the trailer. Four outriggers mounted to the corners of the trailer allow operators to level the trailer, and provide stabilization during deployment. All trailer lighting complies with DOT/FMVSS regulations.
