} //--> Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-SMDE-20KW-NG-30-3S-4X150LTL-LED fold over light mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy intense LED lighting from elevated positions up to 30 feet. This unit features four, 150-watt LED lamps at the top of the tower, for a combined total of 81,000 lumens. A 20kW custom generator, with an engine speed of 1,800 RPM, user provided fuel tank, powers the lighting assembly. A skid mounting system supports the light mast and provides several deployment and transportation options for operators. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The LM-SMDE-20KW-NG-30-3S-4X150LTL-LED is a complete lighting solution for rugged, outdoor locations. This unit features a light mast that extends between 14` to 30` via two manual winches (rated at 1,000 lbs each). The tower supports four, 150-watt LED lamps, capable of emitting a total of 81,000 lumens in a flood beam configuration, making it suitable for wide area illumination. A 4-cycle, 20kW brushless generator, which is equipped with a Deepsea controller, powers the luminaries during operation. The entire lighting assembly is secured on a skid mount system for extra stability and seamless transportation via four side skid pockets. LED Lights: The lighting system on this light mast is equipped with four of our GAU-LTL-150W-LED lamps, which features 20,250 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 150 watts at 1.25 amps from a 120 volt electrical system (per lamp). Sixteen CREE¨ high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24¡ wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10¡ spot, 38¡ narrow flood, 60¡ flood, and 90¡ wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. GAU-LTL-150W-LED lights are ideal replacements for fragile and hot running 300 watt metal halide lamps. They offer low power requirements, high durability and a versatile mounting system that makes these LED light emitters a superior lighting solution for demanding applications where power and reliability is critical. The heavy duty design and high power of these LED lights also makes them suitable for a wide array of applications including but not limited to: high mast lighting, light towers, light plant LED retrofits, military, mining, industrial manufacturing, machine visioning, security and law enforcement, commercial structure illumination, sport complexes, billboards, race tracks, and parking lots to name a few. Durability: The GAU-LTL-150W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40¡ Celsius to +80¡ Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE¨ LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. When lowered to 12 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360¡. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15 inch by 13 inch, 1/4 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 5/8" anchor bolts. A 52" long mounting plate constructed of 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick carbon steel is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four LED fixtures. This light tower weighs approximately 600 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1200 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches. Genset: This LED light mast is powered by a custom genset that houses a Perkins/404D-22G engine, which powers the 20kW brushless (w/ AVR) generator. This 4-cycle unit is water cooled and features a three phase generator with electric starting functionality. The genset runs on 1,800 RPM and is equipped with an EPA Tier4F emissions system. Feauturing 28.9 horsepower diesel engine, this unit produces 65 dB sound level rating at a distance of 22.9` during operation. This genset comes with one 12V battery at 60Ah. A DSE3110 Deepsea controller provides operators with a wide viewing panel and robust monitoring of the generator. The system displays frequency, battery voltage, runtime and more. A protective feature notifies operators about low oil pressure, high water temperature, over/under voltage and over/under speed. The controller can be used in manual or auto start mode. Configurable timers and alarms provide flexibility and real-time monitoring of the system. Mounting: The LM-SMDE-20KW-NG-30-3S-4X150LTL-LED is mounted to a 16` skid base with four side skid pockets to allow for fork lifts and skid steers to transport this unit from all four sides of the unit. A support arm at the end of the skid supports the mast in the collapsed position. The weighted base allows this mast to be deployed without permanently mounting the mast, and includes anchor holes to anchor the unit down for long term deployment.
