Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-30-9-5S-2XT-TLR8-WT-DTN trailer mounted fold over 5-stage light mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to thirty feet. This light tower folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360¡ of rotation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The entire assembly is mounted onto a 8` single axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this fold over boom from location to location. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping five stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 30` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 30` above the trailer floor for maximum area coverage, and collapsed to 9` for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 5.92` in length and 6" by 6" by 3/16" thick, a lower section 6.04` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 6.19` in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, upper section 6.34` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and top section 6.5` in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has 1` foot of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,500lb rated hand winch with 3/16" cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,500 lbs winch. The two mast heads provide operators with a multi-level mounting solution. There is one foot of space between each mast head to accomodate various operator provided light fixtures. These mast heads provide a strong and stable platform for standard payloads up to 150 lbs. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360¡. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different positions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. The LM series of towers are powder coated with desert tan finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. This light mast is mounted to a 8` by 4.5`, single axle trailer via six 1/2" anchor bolts. The two wheel trailer is equipped with 3,500 lbs leaf springs and 15" trailer tires. The trailer can support and haul an additional 2,000 lbs of equipment. Raised mesh sides on the trailer allow for ample storage space extending above the trailer floor as well as allowing for air flow and providing protection to the stored equipment. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 7-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing. Included in the trailer is a NEMA 3R job box for storing tools and equipment. The trailer bed has a 1/8" thick aluminum diamond plate covering to protect inner contents of the trailer. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. These outriggers can be extended 2` out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 13.5`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier or flatbed. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-40-4S is another model that reaches to a length of 40`, with base section 11.25` in length, lower section 11.25` in length, an upper section 11.25` in length, and a top section 11.75` in length. Larson Electronics can custom build these towers to meet your overall and collapsed height requirements. We also offer a choice of either the manual or electric winches, finishing, and equipped light heads. Winch options include 1,000 lbs hand winches (included standard) or optional electric winches for standard light towers, and heavy duty winches and hoists for high payload units. Powder coating color can be customized (the standard mast is desert tan). Mast location on the trailer bed can be tongue mounted, front of the trailer bed, or center of the trailer bed. These towers can be fitted with a Larson Electronics line of high output light heads or customized to meet the mounting requirements for your equipment.
