Made in the USA The Larson Electronics VFD-380.480-3P-40HP-N3R Variable Frequency Drive is suitable for improving AC motor performance in industrial operations. This fan-cooled unit features three-phase 380-480V AC input voltage and 380-480V AC output voltage compatability (180-amp output current). The IP21 rated device supports three digital inputs, two analog outputs, five analog inputs. The VFD-380.480-3P-40HP-N3R offers accurate AC motor control in industrial facilities. This unit is compatible with three-phase 380-480V AC input voltage and 380-480V AC output. Designed for steady speed error, fast torque rise and protection from resonance vibrations, the device provides an output current of 237 amps @ 380V AC and 213 amps @ 480V AC normal duty, and an operating frequency range of 0.1 - 599 Hz with a switching frequency range of 2 - 12 kHz. The nominal switching frequency is 2.5 kHz The motor has 30 kW power during normal duty operation and 22 kW power during heavy duty operation, with a continuous putput current of 61.5 amps @ 4 kHz (normal duty). This 40-horsepower unit comes with a total of eight digital inputs and three relay outputs, as well as three analog inputs and two analog outputs. This VFD comes with several features to improve motor control. The unit comes with seven preset speeds and three critical speed lockout bands. Operators can set ramp to stop or coast to stop options. For fault functions, the VFD offers the following pre-programmed features: AI (1,2 loss), encoder error, panel loss, assistant external fault, motor thermal protection, stall protection, underload, motor phase loss, ground fault and communications fault. The unit also comes with standard pre-programmed safety features: safe torque off motor and off drive, motor phase break motor and drive, overheating, short-circuit, overspeed, overvoltages, overload, phase loss, undervoltage, overcurrent, and thermal protection of the motor and drive. The motor control profile includes optimized torque mode, constant torque standard and variable torque standard, with a permananent magnetic motor. The VFD-380.480-3P-40HP-N3R is protected by a IP21 rated enclosure, and may be mounted on compatible surfaces. This device measures 26.5" x 8.9" x 10.67" and weighs 61.73 lbs.
