The LM-SMWB-36-4S from Larson Electronics is a Skid Mounted Fold Over Light Mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras, and other equipment to elevations of up to thirty-six feet. This light tower is mounted onto a skid base and folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360¡ of rotation, and is equipped with a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use.

The LM-SMWB-36-4S telescoping steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to quickly and safely deploy user provided lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 36` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to thirty feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to thirteen and a half feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 11.25` in length and 5" x 5" by 3/16" thick, lower section 11.25` in length and 4" x 4" by 1/8" thick, an upper section 11.25` in length and 3" x 3" by 1/8" thick, and a top section 11.75` in length and 2" x 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 15-18" overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 2,500 lb hand winch with 3/16 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 2,500 lb winch.

The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 13 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics or galvanized for superior corrosion resistance. A 44" long mounting plate constructed of 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick carbon steel is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for user provided light fixtures and equipment. This light mast is mounted to a 14` skid base with four side skid pockets to allow for fork lifts and skid steers to transport this unit from all four sides of the unit. A support arm at the end of the skid supports the mast in the collapsed position. The weighted base allows this mast to be deployed without permanently mounting the mast, and includes anchor holes to anchor the unit down for long term deployment.

This light tower weighs approximately 1,100 lb, can easily support and lift 150 lb fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1500 lb. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 2,500 lb hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
