The EPF-HSPF-36-1.5HP-50-SW from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Fan with Explosion Proof On/Off Switch that can be used to support active ventilation in hazardous work locations. This high pressure, high volume industrial fan is capable of circulating air at a rate of 14,850 cubic feet per minute (CFM). When it comes to explosion proof ratings, the machine may be used in facilities that handle Class I, Group D combustible substances, such as acetone, butane, gasoline and methanol; as well as Class II, Group F & G ignitable compounds, including coal, charcoal, flour, grain and wood. An explosion proof on/off switch allows operators to easily power the unit on or off in hazardous environments.

Features: This hazardous area unit features a non-sparking cast aluminum propeller with a 36-inch diameter. It offers compatability with 115/230 V AC, 60 Hz voltages. Under the hood, the machine is powered by a 1.5 HP, fully enclosed explosion proof motor. This allows the blade to rotate up to 1,725 times per minute (RPM) at a rate of 14,850 CFM. During operation, the unit emits 88 decibels from a distance of 10 feet, which is equivalent to the sound of busy city traffic.

Explosion Proof Switch: The EPF-HSPF-36-1.5HP-50-SW is equipped with an explosion proof on/off switch. The switch makes it easy to power the fan on or off within hazardous locations. The switch is outfitted with seal-offs in order to maintain the explosion proof ratings of the fan.

The single phase explosion proof fan supports the following cord cap options: 5-15P, 5-20P and 6-20P. This unit weighs approximately 415 pounds and is compatible with portable and stationary mounting preferences. The high stand model features a 360-degree tilt, which offers superior flexibility during setup. This fan comes with a 50-foot 16/3 SOOW cable, making it suitable for use in demanding indoor and outdoor industrial environments due to its resistance to oil, abrasion and moisture.
