The Larson Electronics MGL-480.3P.CL-30KVA-208Y.120V-3X2P.50A-3X1P.20A temporary power distribution system converts three-phase 480V AC to three-phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGL-480.3P.CL-30KVA-208Y.120V-3X2P.50A-3X1P.20A portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 240 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 480V AC using one set of male cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green) and 25` of #6 SOOW cord. On the secondary side, operators are provided access to three, CS6369 receptacles for 120/240V equipment and three, 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles for 120V equipment. All receptacles are protected by weatherproof covers, while the cam-locks contain NEMA 3R protective covers.

Operation: One set of 150-amp 600V rated 15 series male cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green) and 25` of #6 SOOW line-in cord brings three-phase 480V power to the NEMA 3R 60-amp, three-phase 480V primary disconnect, which contains three 50-amp time delay fuses, and passes power to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 30KVA transformer converts 480V to three-phase 208Y/120V 60Hz and passes the current to a NEMA 3R panel on the secondary side. The 100-amp, three-phase 208Y/120V main lug only panel contains three, 50-amp 2-pole 250V breakers protecting three, 50-amp 125/250V CS6369 receptacles and three, 20-amp 1-pole 125V breakers protecting three, 20-amp 125V 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles.

Protective Construction: The portable panel and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Four casters (front two casters swivel) and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks.

This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150 KVA,] and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.

Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.

Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground.
