Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-SMWB-30-3S-4X1000W-MH skid mounted fold over light mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy 4,000 watts of metal halide lighting to elevations up to thirty feet. Four 1,000 watt metal halide lights produce a wide spread of intense white light, allowing this unit to effectively cover large work areas with high quality illumination. This light tower is mounted onto a skid base and folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360¡ of rotation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The LM-SMWB-30-3S-4X1000W-MH 4,000-watt telescoping steel light mast with four metal halide light heads from Larson Electronics is designed to quickly and safely deploy intense illumination for maximum area coverage. This light boom can be extended to thirty feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to thirteen and a half feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 11.27` in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, middle section 10.73` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an upper section 10.63` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1` overlap minimum. The mast is elevated using an included 2,500 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable and extended to its full height using a second 2,500 lbs hand winch. Lights: Included with this light tower are four of our wet area suitable HID-22-SL-REM metal halide fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 440,000 lumens at 4,000 watts. These lamps have 19” reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is secured into place with a heavy duty gasket and single ring lock. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 5 acres. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom and each lamp includes a support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. The lamps are connected to the power source via a water tight male pin connector that attaches to a receptacle located on the end of the telescoping boom. The entire lighting assembly is connected to the power source via a 4-switch control box. Each light head is on an individual circuit and can be powered on or off independently of the other light fixtures. The unit is offered in the following voltages: 208V, 220V, 240V 277V or 480V. Each voltage selection comes with a corresponding cord cap: L21-20 (208V), L14-20 (220/240V), L7-20 (277V) or L8-20 (480V). When lowered to 13.5 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. A 52" long mounting plate constructed of 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick carbon steel is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four metal halide fixtures. This light mast is mounted to a 16` skid base with four side skid pockets to allow for fork lifts and skid steers to transport this unit from all four sides of the unit. A support arm at the end of the skid supports the mast in the collapsed position. The weighted base allowes this mast to be deployed without permamently mounting the mast, and includes anchor holes to anchor the unit down for long term deployment. This light tower weighs approximately 600 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1200 lbs.
