The Larson Electronics LM-30-3S-NYC-6XCAT6 fold over 3-stage light mast winches provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations ofÊup to thirty feet. This light tower folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360¡ of rotation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The light mast is equipped with six CAT6 network cables (blunt cut ends) inside 45` of nycoil coiled cable.Ê

This telescoping three stage steel lightÊmast fromÊLarson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras,Êand other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 30` for effectiveÊcoverage. This light boom can be extended to 30` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 12` for applications where a smaller footprintÊis required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 12`Êin length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, middle sectionÊ11`Êin length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an upper section 10` and 2"Êby 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has aÊ1`Êoverlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16" cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs hand winch.

This solar light tower comes with 45` of nycoil coiled cable for powering mounted equipment at the top of the mast. Operators may access six CAT6 network cables with blunt cut ends inside the coiled cable (must be terminated with network connections). The top of the mast (center of the mast head) contains a 6" x 6" NEMA 3R junction box, which can be tapped and used to complete wiring connections for mounted equipment. The cable is protected by a wire mesh cable holder at the top of the mast to prevent binding when lowered. Cable catchers can be found at the top of the bottom stage, as well as at each additional stage to guide the cable when extending the tower.

The LM series ofÊtowers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics.ÊThese light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15" by 13" by 1/4" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 9/16" anchor bolts. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment.

The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 12`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360¡. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely, and can typically be rotated with a single hand.Ê

This light tower weighs approximately 345 lbs andÊcan easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5` long, 4` wide, 5` tall and weighs approximately 950 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customerÕs requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.

Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power, including the LED10WSA-160, LEDLB-200X2E, LEDLB-160X2E or LEDLB-80x2E.
