The WCDE-9K-HLM24-4X500W-LED-M1 Mobile Light Tower w/ Diesel Generator from Larson Electronics is a towable LED lighting package powered by a 9kW generator. Equipped with four LED lamps offering 64,000 lumens per unit and a digital control panel, the hydraulic light tower extends to a maximum height of 24 feet (7.3M) and can be collapsed to 8 feet (2.45M). All system components are secured to a heavy-duty trailer with 4-corner lifting pickeyes and skid pockets.

The WCDE-9K-HLM24-4X500W-LED-M1 mobile light tower is a reliable solution for deploying equipment in outdoor, remote locations. This unit is supported by a 9,000 watt generator, which supplies the current to four LED lights secured at the top of the mast. The light tower system can provide 12 hours of continuous operation without refueling. This mobile package comes with a state-of-the-art digital touchscreen control panel.

Hydraulic Mast: The hydraulic telescoping, five stage steel lightÊmast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy four LED lights in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 24` (7.3M) for effectiveÊcoverage. This light boom can be extended to 24` (7.3M) for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8` (2.45M) for applications where a smaller footprint is required. This allows operators to collapse the mast and leave it in the upright position during transit if desired. The mast features hydraulic controls for raising and lowering.

A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the LED lights.

The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 270¡. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely and can typically be rotated with a single hand.

LED Light Fixtures: This portable light tower is equipped with four LED outdoor lights for illumination. Each LED light produces 64,800 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 480 watts. Forty-eight CREE¨ high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24¡ wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10¡ spot, 38¡ narrow flood, 60¡ flood, and 90¡ wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights.

Each light can be turned on/off individually. Dark sky compliant glare shields are available (sold separately). The lights are trunnion mounted at the top of the tower and can be manually adjusted for vertical and horizontal orientation by a single person with basic tools.

LED Technology: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.

Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours.

Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-500W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40¡ Celsius to +80¡ Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE¨ LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered.

Diesel Generator: This light tower is powered by an EPA Tier 4 Final diesel generator. Equipped with a 39.9-gallon polymer fuel tank, this generator has a Kubota D1105 BG engine. The generator offers 9 kW standby power (8 kW continuous). This single-phase 120/240V unit has the following receptacles: (1) 30A L6-30R [240V], (1) 30A L14-30R [120/240V] and (1) 20A 5-20R Duplex [120V].

Digital Control Panel: A digital, state-of-the-art touchscreen panel is available for system controls. Operators can use the touchscreen panel to control the following: genset, mast operations, auto leveling of outriggers and turning lights on/off. An emergency stop NEMA 4X rated mushroom head push button on the panel is for stopping the genset.

Housing: All of the operating components are housed within a protective compartment constructed of UV resistant steel and provides airflow for cooling. The design and construction of this enclosure helps this unit operate at a low noise level.

Trailer: The system is mounted onto a two-wheel trailer with DOT-approved LED tail, side, brake and directional lights. This trailer enclosure features hydraulic assist arms to hold the doors in position while accessing the genset during maintenance. The doors have stainless steel hinges and lockable handles. A standard two-inch ball hitch and NATO hitch (reversible) are available for towing with standard pick up trucks. Four retractable 5,000 lb electric outriggers can be used on the trailer. Operators may use bottom-located skid pockets and 4-corner lifting pickeyes to transport the system.

Applications: This portable LED light tower is suitable for use in remote locations, such as temporary camps, construction sites, military bases and areas without reliable access to the grid. It can be utilized to power a wide range of tools and equipment. Ê
