Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-16.9-2S-2XWP90-TLR10 trailer mounted fold over 2-stage light mast with provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy the two equipped 90 watt LED light fixtures to elevations up to sixteen feet. The light tower folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360¡ of rotation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The entire assembly is mounted onto a 10` single axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this fold over boom from location to location. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping two stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics’ is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 16` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 16` above the trailer floor for maximum area coverage, and collapsed to 9` for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 8.25` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick and an upper section 9` in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has 1` foot of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000lb rated hand winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch. Each light head consists of thirty three-watt LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. The housing incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. The LED lamp assembly is protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal. A 1/2" waterproof connector provides a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out this unit`s weather resistant construction. Mounting hardware for the LEDWP-900 consists of a stainless steel coated bracket and stainless steel screws to provide secure mounting and resistance to rust and corrosion. The mounting assembly provides for 360/180 degrees of rotation and tilt to allow the user to position the unit. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the two LED light heads. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360¡. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different positions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. This light mast is mounted to a 4` by 6`, single axle trailer via six 1/2" anchor bolts. The two wheel trailer is equipped with 3,5000 lbs leaf springs and 15" trailer tires. The trailer can support and haul an additional 2,000 lbs of equipment. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 7-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. Four 1,000 lbs hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2` out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 13.5`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-40-4S is another model that reaches to a length of 40`, with base section 11.25` in length, lower section 11.25` in length, an upper section 11.25` in length, and a top section 11.75` in length. Larson Electronics can custom build these towers to meet your overall and collapsed height requirements. We also offer a choice of either the manual or electric winches, finishing, and equipped light heads. Winch options include 1,000 lbs hand winches (included standard) or optional electric winches for standard light towers, and heavy duty winches and hoists for high payload units. Powder coating color can be customized (the standard mast is gloss blue). Mast location on the trailer bed can be tongue mounted, front of the trailer bed, or center of the trailer bed.
