The SIP-compatible device can be connected to a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet SIP network for operation either using PoE or an external power supply of 24-48V DC. Operators may use the telephone for real-time alarm reporting for monitoring activities around the site. For configuring the settings of the unit, embedded web pages are accessible via standard web browsing applications. Monitoring a group of telephones is also possible using TMA software. The industrial communication device features a braille metallic keypad with hearing aid compatibility for individuals with visual or auditory disabilities.
