The Larson Electronics MGP-480V.3P-800A-2x400A.CL-2X60A.CL-1X200A.CL-N3R temporary power distribution system provides operators with a primary and secondary three-phase voltage of 480V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGP-480V.3P-800A-2x400A.CL-2X60A.CL-1X200A.CL-N3R portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 480 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 480V AC using two sets of male cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green). On the secondary side, operators are provided access to two sets of 150-amp and one set of 400-amp female cam-locks for line-out devices. All cam-locks are equipped with NEMA 3R protective flip covers.

Operation: One set of 45¡, 400-amp 600V rated 16 series male cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green) brings three-phase 480V power to the NEMA 3R 800-amp, three-phase 480V main circuit breaker panel. The panel contains one, 200-amp 480V and two, 60-amp 480V breakers. Line-out from the main circuit breaker panel is provided by two sets of 45¡, 150-amp 600V rated 15 series female cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green) and one set of 45¡, 400-amp 600V rated 16 series female cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green).

Protective Construction: The portable panel and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Four casters (front two casters swivel) and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks.

This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150 KVA,] and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.

Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.

Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground.

Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits and shipyard operations.
