This weatherproof portable spider box allows operators to plug into 125/250V generators and welding outlets via a 30-amp, L14-30P, 125/250V cord cap. Featuring an elevated base platform for protection from standing water and weatherproof construction, the WALSB-125.250.30A-6X120.20A-WP is ideal for powering 120V equipment and lighting in construction, entertainment, job-site, marine, and outdoor locations where 120V generators are providing power. This portable spider box features six duplex 120V 20A GFCI protected outlets that provide sealed and secure connections for up to 12 devices. In addition, the GFCI duplex receptacles provide 120V for powering high voltage lighting and equipment without the need for running additional extension cords. Each receptacle features a hinged watertight cover protecting the face from rain, water, and moisture when not in use. The WALSB-125.250.30A-6X120.20A-WP spider box features short circuit and overload protection. In the instance of circuit overload, the unit automatically shuts down to protect the spider box from damage and restarts after 30 seconds. The housing on the WALSB-125.250.30A-6X120.20A-WP is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The top of the unit features a convenient carrying handle that doubles for cable management when not in use. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transformer does not tip over when in the field.
