A NEMA 6P rating ensures protection against solid foreign objects, falling dirt, dust and water (hose directed spray and submersion up to a certain depth). The unit can also resist the negative effects of external ice formation. Operators may mount the weatherproof unit on surfaces via four mounting holes at every corner of the enclosure.
