Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MPD-480-45K-20X120.20-1X208.50 power distribution substation converts 480 VAC three phase electrical current into 120/208Y. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. With this system, operators can plug in tools and other 120 volt equipment into any of the twelve 20-amp. 120 volt 5-20 style outlets. Twenty feet of number 6/4 Type W cable brings line-in power to a fused ON/OFF disconnect switch which protects the 45 KVA, 480 Volt 3 phase transformer. The transformer takes 480V AC and passes 120/208Y to the 100-amp 120/208Y NEMA 3R, 18-ciruit panel. The panel includes twelve 20 amp breakers protecting twelve 20-amp 5-20 GFI outlets with waterproof cover. The panel also includes a 50-amp, 208Y breaker protecting a 50-amp Hubbell CS8369 receptacle with waterproof cover. The transformer and distribution assembly is mounted onto a rugged, powder coated, carbon steel frame with integrated skid pockets, a top located lifting eyelet, and 8" locking casters to allow easy transport. A set of four 8-inch casters, including 2 locking and 2 swiveling, enable the operator to easily move and position the portable power distribution system. The standard frame is constructed of 2" x 1/8" thick square tubing and powder coated for corrosion resistance. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer`s needs. This power distribution system is weatherproof and ideal for outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, welding stations, shows, exhibits and marine applications.
