Made in the USA. The Larson Electronics MGS-480.2X30A-45K-2X240-10X120 heavy duty power transformer substation converts 480 VAC electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480 volt power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power via ten 120 Volt outlets and two 240 Volt outlets. This portable power distribution panel also provides two 30 amp, 480V welding receptacles on the primary side. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* The portable power transformer provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance, equipment installations and repairs and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer system is designed to operate with 480 VAC which it then steps down to single phase 120 and 240 VAC. This substation makes 120VAC available via 10 GFCI protected 20 amp receptacles and 240VAC available via two L6-30 240VAC outlets. This portable power distribution system also provides two 30-amp, 480 Volt outlets for welding receptacles. On the primary side, a 125-amp main breaker 480 Volt panel provides protection for the two 30-amp welding receptacles and the 45KVA transformer. On the secondary side, a 200-amp main breaker panel provides protection for the ten 20-amp, 120 volt outlets and the two 30-amp, 240 volt receptacles. The transformer and distribution assembly is mounted onto a rugged carbon steel frame with integrated skid pockets and a top located lifting eyelet which allows easy transport. The standard frame construction is 1/4-inch thick, 2-inch square tubing frame and 1/4-inch steel plate floor base. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such can build portable power distribution systems to your specifications. Although we carry several models of power distribution transformers, we can deliver custom ordered units almost as quickly as our prebuilt units.
