Made in the USA. The Larson Electronics MGS-DC-45K-150-2X480W-8X120-2X240 heavy duty power transformer substation converts 480 VAC electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480 volt power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* The MGS-DC-45K-150-2X480W-8X120-2X240 portable power transformer system provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable power distribution system includes a 480V, 150 amp main breaker panel. Within that panel, we provided a 30 amp, 480V breaker for an L16-30 receptacle and a 60 amp, 480V breaker for an additional receptacle (provided on request). A 60 amp, 480V breaker protects the 45KVA transformer. This portable transformer system is designed to operate with 480 VAC which it then steps down to 120 and 240 VAC. This substation makes 120VAC available via 8 GFCI protected 120 Volt receptacles and 240VAC available via two L6-30 240VAC outlets. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs. This power distribution system is designed for outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, as a welding station, shows, exhibits, and marine applications.
