Made in the USA Portable Power Distribution Purpose and UseThe MPD-600-150K-4X208Y.100A-1X120.20A portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 120V and 208Y/120V equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 600 Volt line in power via EZ-1016 cam-lock inputs. On the secondary side, operators can use four ADR1044R pin/sleeve style receptacles for their three phase equipment and a single 5-20 GFCI receptacle for single phase tools. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* ProtectionOperators provide line-in cable connections to the primary 600V, 200-amp fusible NEMA 3R disconnect. The disconnect protects the 150KVA NEMA 3R 600V to 208Y/120 transformer. The transformer passes power to the 400-amp main breaker, 208Y/120 NEMA 3R panel. The secondary main breaker protects one 125V, 20-amp, 1-pole breaker (protecting one 5-20R GFCI receptacle with watertight cover) and four 250V, 100-amp, 3-pole breakers, which are protecting four ADR1044R pin/sleeve style receptacles. Protective Construction: Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The transformer and load assembly is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets, locking casters, and a top located lifting eyelet which allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs. Larger units are available upon request and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. This power distribution system is weatherproof and ideal for outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, as a welding station, shows, exhibits, and marine applications. These power transformers are popularly used in hazardous locations where external power sources are often necessary and work well in combination with explosion proof lights. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such can build portable transformer systems to your specifications. Although we carry several models of power distribution transformers, we can deliver custom ordered units almost as quickly as our prebuilt units. If this model does not meet your needs, please contact us at 888-325-4448 [email protected] to discuss your specific requirements.
