This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, as well as any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. The portable panel is designed to operate with 480V three phase voltage. The power distribution on this portable panel runs 480V through a 100-amp main lug only panel. Wiring: The MGP series of portable power distribution panels require operators to provide their own line-in cables for use. Knockouts are provided for convenient installation of operator provided cables. Power: The main load center is protected by a 100-amp load center and includes one 60-amp and one 30-amp breaker. The load center is mounted within NEMA 3R enclosure. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright stand with two handles (one at each side of the stand). Operators may use the two handles to transport the portable panel around the work site. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
