Made in the USA The Larson Electronics WALTX-120.1P-2.5KVA-240.1P-50A Mobile Power Transformer System steps up 120V AC electrical current to 240V AC 60hz. This weatherproof power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 120V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in work areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 120V 60hz which it then steps up to 240 VAC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 240VAC available via one 50A, 240V 6-50R receptacle. Operation: Twenty feet of #12/3 SOOW line in power cord terminated in a 5-15P cord cap is included to connect the transformer to a primary 120V primary power supply. A 20-amp 120V single pole switch protects the 2.5KVA 120/240V NEMA 3R transformer. On the secondary side, a 15-amp 240V two pole breaker protect the 20` of 12/3 SOOW cable terminated in a 6-50R secondary receptacle. Mounting: The housing on the WALTX-120.1P-2.5KVA-240.1P-50A is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transform does not tip over when in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The assembly is mounted atop four swivel polyurethane casters, two standard swivel and two locking swivel, aiding in transportation within the job site. A top located adjustable push handle allows operators to guide this unit through the workspace. Suggested Applications: This weatherproof power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
