Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MDC-220-50MB-6X120.20-150 Mobile Distribution System steps down 220 VAC electrical current to 120V AC 60hz. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 220VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable spiderbox is designed to operate with 220V which it then steps down to 120 VAC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120VAC available via six 20A, 120V GFCI protected 5-20 duplex receptacles with weatherproof covers. Description: 150` of #6/4 Type-W line in power cord terminated in a CS8369 twist-lock cord cap is included to connect the substation to a primary 220V primary power supply. This power distribution system conforms to UL 1640. The main load center is protected by a 50 amp load center with main breaker for circuit protection. 120V line out protection is provided by six 20 amp, 125 Volt, 1 pole breakers. Connection for 120V is through receptacles mounted on the side of the load center. Receptacles include six 5-20 120v, GFCI waterproof duplex receptacles. The load center is mounted within NEMA 3R enclosure. The distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution spiderbox can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Full power distribution units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
