Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MDC-240-100MB-8X120 Mobile Distribution System accepts 120/240VAC single phase electrical current on the primary side and provides 120/240VAC single phase via output receptacles on the secondary side. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 120/240VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. The portable spiderbox is designed to operate with single phase 120/240VAC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120VAC available via eight 20-amp 125V 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles. All receptacles are protected by weatherproof covers. Operation: A 25` #4 Type W line-in cord brings single phase 120/240VAC into the NEMA 3R 100-amp 120/240V single phase main circuit breaker panel. The main circuit breaker panel contains eight 20-amp 1-pole breakers protecting eight 20-amp 125V 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles. The load center is mounted within NEMA 3R enclosure. Protective Construction: The distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. This temporary power distribution spiderbox can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Full power distribution units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
