Made in the USAThe Larson Electronics WAL-DL-LED-20M-CEE16 LED Drop Light/Work light is ideal for close quarter work and general inspection activities in an industrial environment. This drop light/work lights comes with several cord cap options to choose from to fit your application.This drop light features a rugged insulated plastic handle with a built in integrated on/off switch, a steel wire guard enclosure to protect the LED Bulb, one 5-15R receptacle for connection other electrical devices such as extension cords or tools and a swivel hook for easy mounting. The integrated on/off switch allows the operator to turn off the light without having to unplug the unit or turning off other devices that are plugged into the included 5-15R receptacle. The swivel hook allows the operator to easily mount the light for a hands free operation. The steel wire guard has a metal reflector with a mirror finish to reflect light in a 180¡ pattern which prevents the operator of the light from being blinded by the light while using the light for inspection purposes. These LED drop lights improve on the desirable qualities of similar incandescent models and provide higher foot candle light output, cooler operation and better light quality. The cool operation and higher color rendering compared to traditional lighting make these drop lights ideal for a wide variety of close quarter work and inspection activities.The LED bulb used in this unit utilizes only 15 watts and produces 2,250 lumens that will illuminate an area approximately 8 feet wide in all directions. This LED bulb is designed to provide higher efficiency than traditional light bulbs and has an acceptable operating temperature range of -20¡ C to 85¡ C. This LED bulb offers a life of 50,000 hours, and has a solid state design that makes the LED bulb resistant to the effects of impacts and vibrations adding durability to withstand conditions that would cause traditional bulbs to fail. This LED bulb is also constructed of aluminum for durability and resistance to rust and corrosion.Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology.
