Made in the USAThe Larson Electronics HML-5-PGM is a high powered 10 million candle power military spotlight that operates on 24V. The lamp head is 6 inches in diameter and has a permanent mount tilt base. The tension hinge enables the lamp housing to move 140 degrees.This 24 volt spotlight is effective for permanent mounting for military gunners and heavy artiliary. The hinged mounting bracket holds the light in place on protective barriers and gun turrets on the military HUMVEE, even under the most aggressive road and off-road conditions. The lamp features polycarbonate lens, easy change bulb and high strength, computer designed optics for maximum focus and distance. The HML-5 series of 24 volt military spotlights have been extensively field tested in the US, Iraq and Afghanistan in the handheld, magnetically mounted, and permament mount variants of the native 24 volt spotlight. The HML-5-PGM offers the same durability and power in a permanent gun mount spotlight version. The lamp housing is black in color. The sand, UV, and weather resistant spotlight housing effectively dissipates heat while providing weather protection for the toggle switch, internal H3 lamp, and fixture wiring harness. The unique design of the spotlight housing enables continuous use in the most inclement weather conditions without risk of corrosion or damage.The HML-5-PGM has a 21 foot cord with ring terminals for direct battery connection and connects to the pigtail off the back of the light via 2-pin molded SAE connector. A simple on/off toggle switch is conveniently located within reach of the solid polypropylene handle. This light is waterproof and sand and UV resistant. Mounting consists of steel hinge with pre-drilled 3/8" thru-hole for carriage/mounting bolts.Note On Voltage: Most vehicles are 12 Volts DC. 24 Volts DOES NOT mean more power. Running a 24V light from a 12V power source will result in a very dim or non-functioning light, and may cause internal damage to the light as well.
