Larson Electronics GL-SMK Golight Stryker Magnetic Base Kit - 200lb Magnetic Grip

5 inch diameter magnetic base with 200 pounds of magnetic grip. The magnetic is attached to a powder coated steel plate that slides into the base of any Golight Stryker wireless remote controlled spotlight. The kit also includes a 21 foot cord with cigarette plug. The cord is an outdoor rated 16 gauge coard with SPT-2 jacket. The cord contains an inline 15 amp fuse. For those of you owning a Golight Stryker (model 3XXX) wireless remote controlled spotlight, this magnetic base and cord set will convert the unit from permanent mount to magnetic mount. The magnetic base plate slides into the bracket on the bottom of the Golight Stryker. The machine screw that holds the existing permanent mount plate is removed and used to hold the magnetic base plate in place. The cord set comes with 2 nylon butt splice connectors, which are already crimped to the cord set. The user uses a standard crimping pliers to crimp the butt splice connectors to the stripped ends protruding from the 1 foot power wire that comes from the Styker. Any weather resistant connector can be used in place of the nylon butt splice connector. We selected this connector, because more people have a pair of pliers handy to complete the installation. Installation should take less than 5 minutes.
