The UV biaxial fluorescent lamp features a shatterproof coating to prevent exposure to chemicals and glass going everywhere in the event a lamp breaks. *Please note: This product produces UV light. This twin tube T16 bulb offers 253.7 nm UVC output. The unit features a 4-pin on a single end 2G11 ceramic base. Compatible with 120V AC, this UV lamp contains a 16,000-hour useful lifespan. UV radiation from the unit can damage the skin and eyes without proper protection. Operators should avoid exposure to the eyes and skin when the unit is unshielded. In the event of lamp breakage, it is recommended to ventilate the room for 30 minutes and clean the area with gloves (not a vacuum cleaner). Contents should be stored in a sealed plastic bag and brought to a waste/recycling facility.
