Made in the USA The EPL-TL-2X10W-C Class 1, Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 LED Signal Stack Light from Larson Electronics is approved for use in wet locations and marine environments. This explosion proof LED stack light is designed for routing traffic and signaling, and visual indications in industrial refueling stations and process status indication in manufacturing facilities. The EPL-TL-2X10W-C explosion proof LED traffic light from Larson Electronics is an ideal indicator lighting solution for industrial refueling stations and manufacturing facilities. The light housings are constructed with a polyester powder coated copper free aluminum casting that can withstand 1490 pounds PSI hydrostatic pressure. The mounting plate is constructed of non-sparking aluminum and can be custom built to customer specifications. This explosion proof indicator light has a 50,000 hour operational life and is available in 120-277 VAC and 11 or 24 VDC or VAC configurations for standard or low voltage operation. This explosion proof LED stack light carries a T3C temperature rating and has a -40¡C to +85¡C ambient operating temperature range. The EPL-TL-2X10W-C is Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Division 1 & 2 approved. Line-in supply power is provided by 10` of 16 AWG SOOW cable with flying leads. Individual leads per lamp allow independent operation, making this unit ideal for fuel depots and manufacturing facilities where status indicators are necessary. The individual leads can be connected to user provided terminal blocks or existing indicator systems. Unlike traditional indicator lamps that use a colored globe with low color temperature incandescent lamps, this explosion proof LED stack light incorporates a clear glass globe and colored LED lamps. By utilizing colored LEDs instead of tinted lenses or globes, the total visibility and light output is increased when compared to traditional colored lamps. This is particularly important for strobe configurations, increasing the peak candela of the signal during indications. We offer a large assortment of lamp color options including red, white, blue, amber, green, and purple LED lamps. These are available in a steady burn or strobing configuration. These stack lights can also be configured with audible horns.Commonly used color codes for indicators: Red: Stop / Failure conditions, such as an emergency stop or machine fault Yellow: Caution / Warnings, such as over-temperature or over-pressure conditions Green: Go / Normal machine or process operation Blue: External help request / Operator/Supervisor required / Maintenance personnel assistance required White: User-defined conditions specific to application and environment Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. This explosion proof fixture offers exceptional lumen output, a 50,000+ hour life span, and the lamps are protected by Pyrex globes and cast aluminum globe guards. The LED lamps in this traffic light are 10 watts each and offer cool operation and clean bright output that surpasses that of 100 watt incandescent indicator lamps. Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum back plate fabricated from copper free aluminum with four predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls, ceilings, and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. Note on Lights: Please note, the color choices and light configuration of this unit can be customized to your requirements. We offer steady burn or strobing LED lamps, as well as high or low voltage configurations. Please contact us for special color configurations.
