Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPO-30A-DA-480V explosion proof receptacle is designed for reliable power connection in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous locations. Equipped with a 4-pole, 3-wire configuration, this unit features compatibility with 460V AC and 115/230V AC. The explosion proof receptacle is factory sealed and supports delayed action contacts. The EPO-30A-DA-480V offers secure power connections in facilities where flammable chemicals, gases or volatile vapors are known to or may potentially exist. This explosion proof receptacle is compatible with three phase 460V AC, at 7 amps and 1 HP; and three phase 115/230V AC, at 30 amps and 3 HP. This single-gang receptacle comes with the following explosion proof ratings: Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups C, D and Class I, Zones 1 & 2, llB, llA. Constructed of copper-free aluminum, the explosion proof receptacle features delayed action contacts. The accessory is furnished with an extra long grounding pole, for establishing grounding prior to engaging the power contacts. The factory sealed unit is available with a feed through box. This configuration includes a 3/4" hub on either end of the receptacle and allows the source to power the receptacle while wired through the unit. The 4-pole, 3-wire receptacle is housed in a NEMA 7 enclosure for added durability.
