Made in the USA The EPCS-MTS-3P-2X-1.5HP-208V from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Hinged-Cover Motor Starter that is rated for use in Class I and II, Divisions 1 & 2 and Class III hazardous locations. This copper free aluminum motor starter provides operators with general motor control protection, and motor overload and undervoltage protection, indoors and outdoors in hazardous locations that are damp, wet, dirty and dusty. The EPCS-MTS-3P-2X-1.5HP-208V is equipped with two of each of the following: 5 amp, 1.5 HP starters, resets for overloads, start buttons, and illuminated stop buttons. It is also equipped with one fused control transformer and three 3/4" conduit entries on the bottom. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPCS-MTS-3P-2X-1.5HP-208V explosion proof, wet location motor starter is made of corrosion-resistant cast copper free aluminum and features a semi-clamshell design with an external flanged ground joint between the body and the cover to make interior components easily accessible. A motor operating starting handle is located on the right side wall of the enclosure and allows provides operators with visual confirmation that all component assembly and operation is correct. A neoprene cover gasket seals out moisture and is permanently attached to the cover. This enclosure includes versatile internal operating mechanisms that allow easy field adjustment. This durable explosion proof motor control enclosure`s body, cover and operating handle is constructed of copper-free aluminum, and the operating shaft and brushing is stainless steel. Stainless steel springs allow operators to clearly see that all bolts are fully retracted from the body. Mounting: The EPCS-MTS-3P-2X-1.5HP-208V has a simple installation, completed with an included pre-drilled mounting plate within the enclosure, which is field removable. A steel bracket for lifting larger enclosures during installation is also included in the standard model. Applications: Indoor and outdoor general motor starting in hazardous locations, areas where frequent washdowns occur, or where heavy rain and water spray is present, for motor overload and undervoltage protection, and locations where centrally located motor control is necessary.
