This unit is rated Class 1, Division 1 and comes complete with 100’ of yellow SOOW 16/3 AWG cord ending in an industrial grade cord cap.This hand lamp has a high efficiency LED bulb that requires no ballast, so the operator doesn`t need to drag a bulky ballast housing around. This can be particularly annoying when the ballast becomes entangled in the cord. The light produced by this unit has a 6000k color temperature, which is much sharper and whiter than the light produced by incandescent lamps. The light produced by this lamp is ideal for close work and inspection activities where good contrast and true color representation is needed. The LED lamp in this unit runs much cooler than incandescent or fluorescent lamps, resulting in a lamp housing that remains cool to the touch and eliminates the accidental burns often encountered with incandescent drop lights.Voltage: The drivers in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These drop lights can operate on current ranging from 120 to 277V AC, 50/60 Hz without any modifications necessary as a result. We also offer a low voltage 11V AC or 25V AC version for low voltage applications.
