The EPH-SH-FH-258KW-120V.1P from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Fan Forced Steam Heater that is ideal for heating industrial buildings. Compatible with 120 V AC, the heater can throw heat at a distance of 44 feet. This unit is constructed of steel and contains 1-1/4" NPT hubs at the top and bottom for supply/return connections. The EPH-SH-FH-258KW-120V.1P requires a user provided water line connection to function.

The EPH-SH-FH-258KW-120V.1P is suitable for maintaining adequate temperatures in industrial work sites. Equipped with a 9" fan, this unit operates on 120 V AC and features an entering airflow of 4560 CFM. The 1/2 HP horizontal forced fan steam heater accepts 258,000 BTU/H of 2 lb steam 60¡F entering air and provides an output of 201,900 BTUs of hot water 200¡F in 60¡F entering air. Capable of throwing 44 feet of heat, the unit offers the following final air temperatures: 100¡F (hot water) and 111¡F (steam). Water flow rate is 21 GPM.

This explosion proof heater is constructed of steel, finished in polyester powder coat for durability. The unit features squared-off corners and provides quiet operation during use. A two-piece casing configuration allows for seamless access to the coils. This heater is equipped with an explosion proof totally enclosed motor with thermal protection.

Hubs: The EPH-SH-FH-258KW-120V.1P contains two 1-1/4" NPT hubs. One 1-1/4" NPT hub is located at the top and one 1-1/4" NPT hub is located at the bottom of the fan forced steam heater. The openings are designed for supply and return connections. These connections are NOT provided and must be provided by the end user. A junction box is available at the back of the heater for electrical connections during installation.

Mounting: The maximum recommended surface mounting height for this explosion proof unit is 19 feet (maximum). For best results, operators should leave a minimum of 5" space between the back of the unit and the wall, building, or any obstructions.
