Made in the USA The EPL-AEB-16.16.8-2X3N-4XTP.375 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Container that provides operators with a Class I and II, Divisions 1 and 2 cast aluminum enclosure designed to hold electrical equipment up to 16" by 16" by 8" in size. This enclosure features two 3" NPT hubs on the North side and four 3/8" taps on the inside for mounting. This explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPL-AEB-16.16.8-2X3N-4XTP.375 explosion proof enclosure is made of cast aluminum, equipped with stainless steel hinge and bolts and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X protection rating. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 16" in length by 16" in width by 8" in height and is equipped with four surface mount mounting lugs for securing the unit. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost. Internal mounting for equipment is provided by four 3/8" taps on the inside of the enclosure for easy installation. The hub sizes and locations are as follows: two 3" on the north side.
