The EPRB-ALU-2.5-1 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Conduit Reducer Bushing that is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups A, B, C, & D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F, & G hazardous locations. This male to female NPT threaded reducer bushing can be used to reduce the size of a tapped hole or hub. Features: The EPRB-ALU-2.5-1 is constructed from copper free aluminum. This explosion proof reducer bushing reduces a 2-1/2" NPT threaded hole or hub down to a 1" NPT threaded hole or hub. The EPRB-ALU-2.5-1 is silver in color and features a natural finish. This explosion prood conduit reducer bushing is designed to be used with rigid pipe or IMC conduit. The machined smooth finish interior bushing protects conductors as they are fed through this adaptor. The EPRB-ALU-2.5-1 is suitable for use in hazardous locations. Applications: To reduce the trade size NPT of a taped hole or huib. Situations that require an existing tapped hole or hub to be reduced to a smaller size for conduit runs, or attaching a smaller NPT device to an existing larger NPT hub.
