The ATEX-UN-1 is an ATEX/ IEC Ex certified Union, used to connect two pieces of conduit together, or to attach a conduit to a junction box, fitting, or other device. This steel coupling permits the removal of equipment without having to turn or remove the conduit. This steel union consists of either a female to female option or male to female option. The female to female coupling is a 1” hub size with a 2” diameter and 2-7/16” length. The male to female coupling is also a 1” hub size with a 2-1/32” diameter and 3-5/64” length. These unions feature strong and durable steel construction with tapered threads (NOT), and are threaded for rigid conduits or IMC. The hazardous location union is ATEX/IEC Ex certified, and meets UL Standards 886 and 1203, as well as CSA Standard C22.2 No. 30.
