Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPL-HL26-100 Hazardous Area Compact Fluorescent Drop light is UL Listed Class 1 Division1 Groups C and D - and is ideal for general work activities in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection. This fluorescent drop light comes with a customizable cord cap options. This 26 watt explosion proof compact fluorescent work light from Larson Electronics produces 1,700 lumens of fluorescent illumination and comes complete with 100 feet of explosion proof cord. The EPL-HL26-100 fluorescent drop light ballast is contained within the compact fluorescent bulb assembly while the housing is constructed of non sparking aluminum. This hazardous location hand lamp is Class 1, Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 hazardous location environment approved. This explosion compact proof fluorescent drop light is ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desire d. This unit is rated Class 1, Division 1 and is complete with 100’ of SOOW 16/3 AWG cord ending a customizable cord cap. This hand lamp has a compact fluorescent bulb so the operator doesn`t need to drag the ballast housing around. This can be particularly annoying when the transformer becomes entangled in the cord. This explosion proof fluorescent hand light comes standard with 120 Volts, 60 Hz operation for US voltages. This unit has a 2800k color temperature and so produces light that is warm white in color. The housing runs warm to the touch and the compact fluorescent lamp used with this unit provides 8,000 hours of lamp life. Wiring and Plug: This Hazardous Area Compact Fluorescent Drop light is equipped with 100 foot of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps.
