The Larson Electronics EPL-FL1524LED-100Ê Hazardous Area Fluorescent Work light is UL Listed Class 1 Division1 Groups C and D and Class II Division 1 groups E, F and G. With a 2 foot long 15 watt fluorescent lamp, this hazardous location light provides a very wide flood beam which can be suitable for paint spray booth inspection or general portable lighting in confined spaces like fuel tanks or grain storage areas.

This hazardous location area light features a rugged, non-sparking aluminum casing and unique rod cage and produces cool, glare-free, shadowless light that maximizes safety in hazardous locations and maximizes lighting efficiency with built-in metal reflectors. Fluorescent lights are popular in paint prep, painting and post-paint inspection operations, due to the even white color light produced. The 15-watt fluorescent lamp used in this unit provides as much illumination as higher-wattage incandescent lamps without the associated heat, reducing the chances of accidents or burns. This lamp has an inline isolated ballast which reduces lamp head weight, an impact resistant tube shield with specially designed annealed glass and an aluminum hook for easy overhead mounting.
