Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-WM-40-8-8S-ALU-EW eight-stage light mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to 40 feet. This light tower, which collapses to 8 feet, features a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The unit features an electric winch and two surface mount brackets for improved stability. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping eight stage aluminum light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 40` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 40` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square aluminum tubing with a sturdy base stage. The mast is elevated by pressing down on the end of the base stage, elevating the mast into the upright position. The mast is extended to its full height using an included electric winch with 3/16" galvanized cable. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. This light mast is mounted via the two surface mounting brackets found near the bottom of the tower. Each mounting bracket accepts four bolts. With two mounting brackets used to secure the light tower, operators are left with a stable and durable light tower. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for equipment. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 8`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The electric winch on this mast is offered in 120V or 240V AC 50/60 HZ. Additional voltage options are available at an additional charge. Larson Electronics can offer single phase and three phase AC winches, or low voltage DC winches. This light tower weighs approximately 150 lbs and can easily support and lift 125 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 8` long, 4` wide, 5` tall and weighs approximately 375 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winch included standard or optional electric winch.
